With over five years of experience as a Nurse Assistant, I have honed my skills in providing exceptional patient care. I am committed to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in diverse healthcare settings, including Universal Health Center, Gbung CHPS, and Ammat Zak Maternity Memorial Home. In these roles, I honed my skills in patient monitoring, labor, medication administration, and thorough documentation, always committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for my patients.
I am passionate about empowering patients to achieve optimal health outcomes and providing compassionate support to individuals and families during challenging times. My experience extends to assisting with daily living activities, coordinating care plans with interdisciplinary teams, and delivering essential health education within communities.
Outside of work, I am actively involved in volunteering efforts with the National Youth Authority, where I contribute to health education initiatives in Tamale and surrounding areas. I believe in the power of education and community engagement to promote health and well-being and am dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the communities I serve. Also a call attendant with Savana Signatures, Tamale, I have developed skills in telehealth communication and community health promotion. These roles have deepened my dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others, whether through direct patient care or health advocacy.
I have certifications in CPR, Caregiver, Working Abroad As A Healthcare Worker, Moving And Handling For Healthcare Worker and International Healthcare Administration further enhancing my skills and expertise in healthcare. With a strong foundation in infection control, vital signs monitoring, and patient communication, I am well-equipped to handle the demands of the healthcare field with professionalism and integrity.
I am excited about the opportunity to continue my journey in healthcare and technology to leverage my skills and experience to support organizations like Marie Stopes International Ghana in their mission to improve access to sexual and reproductive health services and ALX aim to close the gap between education and employability by providing world-class training programs in technology, business, and professional skills, thereby enabling young Africans to access high-quality career opportunities and contribute to the continent's growth and innovation.
